New Ideas
New kiln, new ideas. Recently a design of mine got ripped off by someone, initially I got royally hacked off by it, but in the end decided that as I do this for calm and peace and it is my passion I had to let it go and discover other ways / methods to play. So here is what I am doing at the moment. I am using more and more other elements in my silver and I added a patina on the recessed part to give definition. Time consuming and absorbing and I have to say I was delighted with the end result. I have another 7 or 8 in the process at the moment, and will post them when they are ready.

Really beautiful- i love the shape and it looks so tactile
It's beautiful.
Lousy getting a design stolen but good you haven't let it hurt you :)
Dotty thank you - I have to say he (it is a he for some reason) reminds me of a flower frog - and yes I do feel he's tactile, not sure I'll be seling him, reckon he's mine!! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Averil - bless you, in some ways I'm grateful, it broke me out of my comfort zone!
New to all this blogging lark but followed your link across from folksy. I love this piece. It is so unique - and as the comment above says, very tactile :)
Thank you Stoned, just off to find you and follow you. I think Folksy is one of my greatest find this year - I'm loving it!!

Sorry somethingextraspecial, but I don't yet have anything to follow! I'm so new to all this blogging tweeting lark but when I get my head round it (and the amount of time that it all takes), I will start one.
Stoned - it occurred to me that what you should write about is your new adventure into all this online stuff. How you felt about it, what you found conusing, a bit like a 'diary of a new blogger / seller on etsy kind of thing. It would make interesting reading for a lot of people!!
Best of luck - as you can see you already have a follower waiting to read!!
